{Apology}
I just wanted my peeps to know where I have been lately... First of all I was diagnosed with the dreaded swine flu and both of my girls caught it shortly after, keeping us down for almost three weeks. Second I have received several emails requesting Holiday photoshoots and have not replied... simply for loss of words. I am taking some time off from taking pictures to TRY and mend my family. Photography started out as a little fascination and grew to be a great passion and outlet for me. There is something magic about capturing life's happy moments and sweet smiles that just add such joy to my life and I hope to be behind the camera again soon. I appreciate the inquires and referrals and hope that I haven't hurt or offended anyone. Aleia

{Rachelle}
My baby sister has been staying with us this summer. Four years ago she moved out of state and I hadn't seen her since then. She is so grown up. It has been a learning experience to have a teen in our house...myspace, all nighters, makeup & messes. Good times! She is such a great help with my girls and we all love having her here. My two year old calles her "Sea Shell", too cute. Im sure you will be seeing more pics of Rachelle, she has more photoshoot ideas up her sleeve than I do {wink,wink}. Love ya sis!

{Independence Day}
I had a little fun with the fireworks...a tripod & SLOW shutter speed can produce some awesome images (SOOC)
our new boxer pup, BRUNO
There is nothing better than a small town 4th of July! The horse and float parade down main street, hometown football games and yummy fry bread, fresh kettle corn... sitting right under the booming fireworks and smelling the sulfur in the air...afternoon shower storms, 4 wheelers, crawdad fishing, cousins & family, cool mountain air & lots & lots of dirt:)
I finally got my camera back from the shop...whoot,whoot!

{San Diego 09}
A week on the beach just isn't long enough {sigh}. I so enjoy our annual trip to Cali! This year I could hardly wait to try out some of my new photography skills and was SO disappointed when I had to leave without my camera because it wasn't done being fixed yet:( The beach is so much more scenic than our lovely AZ desert;) Thanks to my MIL who let me play with her camera while we were there. I feel the same way about my camera as I do my toothbrush (I wouldn't want to share) so I really appreciate it! My girls are the hardest to take pictures of so when I'm able to get a few good ones... I am in love!
